So with more and more games going down the BETA route before release, I think its strange to see the way the word "BETA" means less and less what we are used to. Years ago a Beta was a form of testing a game in order to get feedback and ultimately improve the game before release. However, it seems that most Betas now are nothing more then Glorified Demos and often even worse... AN EXCUSE! Gameplay from Blacklight Retribution... Commentary by ExoGenesis
