Desde hace ya varios años se está restaurando y con mucho trabajo y esfuerzo el mÃtico Correillo vuelve a estar en todo su esplendor. Resulta increÃble acercarse al muelle de Santa Cruz de Tenerife y ver las formas del barco con una gran similitud a lo que fue el TITANIC. Claro que el TITANIC era de enormes dimensiones en comparación con el humilde Correillo LA PALMA, que sin embargo, hoy por hoy DESTACA muy por encima de los cruceros que atracan a poca distancia del Correillo pero que no tienen la belleza marinera de hace 100 años puesto que los cruceros de hoy dÃa son "CAJAS DE ZAPATOS".
